I’m liking this one a lot. Very much in the Tarantino style.
Can’t wait for Saul tonight!!!

Re: What shows do you watch?
Finished up Hunters over the weekend. I've been waiting on this one for a bit. Mixed bag for me. Love Pacino as always. It was a little too-thoughtful, dramatic and forced in spots. On Grime's Tarantino observation; I wish it would have cribbed some of his writing style and attitude over cribbing visual bits (the commercial spots and little musical bits that sometimes were ok and other times just badly placed). A few less episodes would have been nice to keep it a little more action packed. Overall; it was solid.
Still grinding away on Justified. Great old show to revisit.
In between this, been rewatching the Vicar of Dibley. BBC show I should have no business watching as from the description; it is 1000 miles away from what I normally gravitate towards. But it's a funny little brit show with a great cast. Highly recommended if you want a harmless little sitcom.

The Expanse
More murder mystery than I was expecting. Lots of intrigue, political groups all interweaving and tons of character development. Not any really in-depth sci-fi.
Though I do like the mysterious substance that we see in the first episode that is slowly being shown more and more frequently. That shit is whacky. Reminds me vaguely of the end of Event Horizon.

Apart from The Expanse, I haven’t really gotten into many traditional shows lately. Mostly YouTube channels, like Outside Xbox, because Jane Fucking Douglas, that’s why.

Yeah, that was brutal. And not really something I see his character doing. I get he's freaking out about what he's done, but taking it out on his granddaughter was not really something I saw him doing.
I am looking forward to seeing what happens when those dudes try to jump him (clip in the trailer). That should bring some lulz.
It's nice to finally see some sign of the Saul we all know and love starting to shine through. That courthouse scene was some stellar hustle.
Dour Face Kim just as well start clucking her tongue and wagging her finger. Her control issues with Jimmy are making me sick. Whatever's gonna happen to her needs to happen soon. We're about four seasons past her expiration date at this point.
Still an enjoyable episode. Those duncecaps at the beginning with the 50% off rants and Nacho going super-stealth to get the drugs back were highlights.
Re: What shows do you watch?
Altered Carbon s2 out today. Excited for it but the first episode is nothing special so far.

Finished this one up last night18-20 min episodes go fast
Great little show. Doing the retro vibe and wasn't sure if it wasn't a little too angsty-teen at first but got past that. I predicted a version of what the ending was to a degree but was still surprised at what actually happened

Hopefully; with the final scene like it was...they decide to do another season and do it fairly soon-ish and not go Peaky Blinders/Better Call Saul on it.
the Mrs and I are trying to watch it together and to get our schedules to sync sometimes can be a pain the ass.... so haven't gotten past the 2nd episode as yet BUT.... really want to binge it out... I think that could happen on Sunday..... as for long production times, once BBC or AMC aren't involved and the episodes stay short I don't see why they can't crank out seasons at all... at least, one hopes lol

IMO this is one of the few shows that actually get better as the seasons progress.

Episode 5 of Altered Carbon s2 and I'm out. It is just plain boring. The first season was unique and exciting. This one is none of those.

S14 of Sunny is on Hulu now. Thunder Gun 4 is one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

Yeah, that last episode brought some good shock value to the table. Not that you didn't see it coming, as they spelled it out pretty clearly, but to see it actually go down was
