Always wanted to do a from-scratch guitar build, and figured this half-from-scratch build would get me a little closer. The neck came from Warmoth as a tilt back paddle, and I tried to cut it out to look like a Blackmachine headstock (since I'll likely never afford or even play one) While there are design changes I'd make the next time around, it came out surprisingly playable and good sounding. The body is just a cheap 3-piece basswood blank I got from a lumber supplier online.

Jeez Dude, that looks great! I know its not always easy to get things straight & perfectly playable. I like the look! Good luck with later builds. Did you use a template?
I did use a template - sketched the design on paper, then moved to .75" MDF, then to 1" pine. Probably overkill, but I was afraid the router bearing would begin to bite into it and mess it up.
Hoping to do a more traditional drop-top style dual horn next...
