Good morning,
I was wondering how you would go about making the contoured body, like you'd find on a US Series Spector NS-2?
Thank you.

Re: Curved/Contoured Body
I would start with an MDF template. It's soft and easy to sand with a curved object to get the desired shape. I used a heart shaped baking cutter and stuck an 80 grit sandpaper to achieve mine. For the edges, the more rounder, the more comfortable. I used a half-inch round over bit and sanded it with an orbital sander after. For a much nicer transition, use a sanding sponge at the very end of the stage. For the gut and arm contour, use a rough rasp to quickly carve the wood. Then use a finer rasp to clean off the cuts made by the previous rasp. Sand it and repeat with the sanding sponge.
