Playing guitar, doing some more crunches, consuming beer(later) and eating well.

I've had most of this past week off. But I'm really getting kind of sad that I have to go back Wednesday.

I fucking hate my job.

Working. Been going to gym to stay not fat. Up at 4:30, gym from 5-6:30 and started work at 7.

Just got done loading a truck full of shit and now I'm sitting here taking a break because I'm lazy.

Then slept till 10:30 this morning.

Watching the kid and drinking beer is pretty much my day.

And Thomas the Train. They're 2 they're 4 they're 6 they're 8, shunting trucks and hauling freight...

Worked a half day -- I'm not half black but I am half Italian. So I feel slightly entitled that way.

I'm working today.

I hate my job.

I'm pretty fed up with this line of work. I'm a pretty negative guy anyways, and this isn't helping. I need to be working a sunny flowery world of love and happiness. I've just about had it with insurance, clients, investments, etc.

Like REALLY fed up.

But..............It's the family business, and they need me.

I've almost crossed the line to look for something else. I'm miserable here.

Bro, bro, fuh reelzz. I know where your at.

I sit in a water plant for 8 or 16 hours straight doing nothing. Just sitting there. All hours of the day, holidays included. I'm also the low man in the plant, so I have no control over my schedule. It's easily the most stable, secure job in all of society. The benefits are huge. But I don't care as it's driving me crazy and making feel constantly sad and mildly depressed. I want to go back to playing/working with High Voltage. It would get me on a regular schedule and working towards my Journeyman License. Then on to my Masters'. So I wouldn't have to work for anyone in a few years.

My resume is done and getting handed out this week.

It's been six years for me, which means the only people who will hire me are other financial firms. :(

And in those places, they put you on a sales board like Glengarry Glenross.

I get pissy about my job like this about every 6 months or so, but it's worse this time. (probably because I'm getting married).

I'm losing all hope that I can do something I enjoy. I'm going to be pissed off for the rest of eternity because of my job and the working world in general. I'm a bum. I can't do something I don't enjoy. My life has been too easy. I'm far too averse to suffering to DO something productive.

I probably sound worse than I am, but seriously, enjoying your job must be like winning the lottery. I would have an easier time signing up for major league baseball or becoming a rock star. :(
