Ha! First in -and- first in with a pic!!!

Here's my TOTALLY AWESOME poverty rig.

Roland DAC-15 into a 1x12 25w Greenback - the Greenback sounds so much better than the amp's speaker.
Korean made Zero Gravity Freefall with Floyd Rose. It's a $425 shredder that plays like a hot buttered geisha!!!
Total cost, including the cable: about $825.00

My wife got this funky Tiesco Del Rey for $10 at a yard sale.

The amp was the most expensive at $120! Yeah, $120 for a POS Washburn solid state beginner amp. It was my first amp bought in 1989. Yeah, beginner crap was expensive back then and there was no Ebay or Craigslist. Should have got a Mark III.

Add a used SD-1 for 20 bucks and you got a cool little greasy sounding setup.

VM model 160 10" combo - gutted and turned into a tweedle-d circuit (modded tweed dlx) $150 spent.
The amp slides out of this combo & can be used as a head with a different cab.
RG with transitions/area 67 ~$425 spent

Posted this in the Head and Cab rig section but it's also a Budget Rig.
Peavey VTM120 head purchased in local GC used 5 years ago = $200 *(five years ago you could find VTM's in the $200 range all day.)
Peavey 412MS loaded with Celsestion G12K-85's from GC used = $100 *(just bought another one of these for $120)
First Act guitars. 1 from GC used $50 and 1 from Ebay $20 = $70
Trinity Reverb GC on sale = $100
Vox Delaylab new with coupon several years ago =$180
Used PP2 $120, New DL8 $60, Used EBVPJr $40,
used TU-2 tuner $50, Used Green Screamer $35 =$305
Two other pedals I made $20 parts = $20
Total cost = $975
I play this at home and take it with me wherever. I roll up all the chords and place them on top of the pedals and use the bungee chord to hold them in place for easy transport.

Thanks man. Yeah, it does it all for me. The amp is only a single channel but with my low output pickup it cleans up really well. The pedal next to the volume pedal is another volume pedal I made. I just point the knob to the spot that gives me the amount of cleanup I want and at the touch of a button, I get there. There are just times when the regular volume pedal or knob on the guitar aren't practical, fast or accurate enough.

I love a cranked up, clean amp, speakers a few dB's from blowing, really kicking out that KARANG & KACHING OH MAN!!! Nothing like it!!!
