Scully :fap:

We're down to three episodes of Sons now. We decided we're watching the last episode we're gonna watch last night and it ends with: (white-out spoiler):
"Is that why grandma killed mommy?"

My wife goes, "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" like Vader at the end of Ep III. But she had to be to work at six so we stopped. AMPED to see the results of that shit though. I'm hoping Jax finally does what he should have done years ago.

And no, we haven't looked up the ending yet.

Actually, I got to the point where I just wanted to see how it played out. I truly felt I was watching a soap opera, and it felt... greezy... nowhatimean?

If you are a :fap: fan of Scully; you should watch The Fall. I can't watch Sons of Anarchy. Biker gang soap opera is just not in my wheelhouse.

Nah, we held out this long, we'll finish it tonight.

Honestly, last season felt that way to me but it's like we made it this far, we just as well finish. This season's been OK except for the fact that fucking Jemma has the entire club going batshit for the wrong reasons. I think we're about to turn the corner from that though.

On Scully, one of the very first naughty vids I ever saw online was something called "Scully's Gully," I downloaded off usenet, over dialup. Took something like three days. And by gawd if that wasn't her it was somebody that was a virtual clone. Much fap had. Good grief.

Started watching this over the weekend. Excellent family drama with some grit to it. We are on episode 11 (iirc), so just a few left before it's over. First episode was interesting; as you don't know how it's going to play out, or if it will keep your interest beyond being a straight up drama. Then the ending  Good writing and cast keep it moving at a nice pace. Glad I started watching it, as the description alone might not have drawn me in.

Yeah, i think i just started watching it cause i needed filler TV while waiting on new seasons to start but it was well worth it. I became more invested and interested with each episode. It's just this fantastic slow build and the final two episodes blow it out of the water. It's filmed beautifully too which is a big plus especially in television (as it seems to be more rare).

The cover pic looked like Magnum PI 2015 (minus the stache) or something :freak:
I am seriously jonesing to see these last few episodes. The whole situation sucks and could have been avoided imo. Without spoilers, someone definitely got the short end of the stick and it could have been made right; but then we wouldn't have a compelling story, so there you go

As the final two episode happen i was like, how the hell are they going to make a second season of this??? .... and then i'm like oh after the final episode.... it's good.

The foreshadowing from the very first episode tells you this isn't going to end well and i think that was very smart.... not only for the story telling aspect but so you go in knowing this won't end well.

I was wondering if they are going to do a second season. The way this is playing out, it seems like a prime candidate for a one and done. Which is fine in my book as I am almost tired of binge watching then having to wait for 8 months for the next round. I will report back once I get it finished up.

The 100. Pretty sweet apocalyptic scifi, sort of reminds me of Battlestar Galactica (the newer one) in the way how gritty and nihilistic it is. I also like how the main cast is supposed to be children/teens and they actually behave realistically like that.

The pilot episode is terrible teen horror movie cliches and bad dialogue and the premise is cheesy as fark, but it gets really good very fast after that.

Edit: Season 2 is like if Fallout was made into a tv series!

It's pretty deep series in fact besides the cheesy first episode. A lot of it is about how totalitarian regimes and immense cruelty can be born out of regular people just trying to survive in hard conditions.

"Road to hell is paved with good intentions" and all that. And it's fast paced and addicting. :D

Binge watched all but the last episode ( ) of Legit this weekend. Jim Jefferies is, obviously, funny as hell. I believe the show didn't get picked up for another season but I could be wrong. Lots of seriously inappropriate situations involving substances and adult situations :cop:

Hilarity aside, there is some surprisingly good feels in the mix as well. You never forget it is an absurd comedy about terrible people, but sometimes they shine a little light in there show some humanity. I dig the f**k out of it.

Goldbergs did a Princess Bride show last week. Brutally funny, though some of the story was a little stretching the boundaries of reality.

"My name is Inigo Montoya. You kill my parents. Prepare to die."

"What is your problem?"

Yeah Jive. It's pretty much nostalgia trip mixed with lulz, which seems to hit perfectly for me. The number of toys and posters in the background that I recognize from the time always gets me. And seeing that daughter in eighties hottie clothes is quite enjoyable as well. :thu: :fap:

Indeed. All the characters crack me up. Barry is probably my favorite. Some feel good stuff happens and I dig that; as it makes it not all throwback absurd. I thought for a second you were going to point out the mom :cop:

One of his standups led me to the show, actually. His gun control bit was awesome. One thing I think is really cool is it seems like they pack a f**kton of stuff into a 21 minute episode. And it doesn't feel rushed. I hope Netflix picks it up.

Yeah, i thought the premise sounded stupid but we were out of TV to watch so tried it out and watched all 6 episodes in a row. It was actually more heartwarming than i thought it would be while still having the good british humor.

Most importantly... it has the girl from Misfits:
