A megamave expert I am not that's for sure.

I have no idea why he had Dean make him one when he still have his Jackson one. It's not like he'll be using that the entire evening.

Does he still use any of his Jackson's at all?
I think it goes back to the whole him trying to buy Jackson before Fender bought them thing that pissed him off. But I stopped caring about Mave around that time.

That thing is fugly.

It's more like 30 years. I think he needs to go on celebrity rehab and cry to Dr.Drew about how Metallica kicked him out for the umphteenth time. I like Megadeth, but his story is more overused than the race card.

Yeah, if you're 51 (as he is) and still can't get over something that happened when you were 21 (as he was), unless it was teh raep, I don't know what to tell you.

And he's gotten absolutely unlistenable over the last few years with his weird right wing conspiracy shit.
"If there was only a way that I couldn't even any less than I already can't then I'd gladly not, but I think I've entered some quantum paradox, dark matter levels of can't evening where the total absolute value of not evenness exceeds all ability to explain the can'ting." - MR RUBATO

Kidding aside, one can have the 6-string in an open tuning and still use the 12-string as a main rhythm still. Then again this is MegaDave we're talking about, so no open tunings up in this bish.

Do any Megadeth songs really require a 12 string? I don't usually think "Megadeth" and "oh yeah I need a 12 string option."

That guitar is just fooked.

Except he doesn't use the 12-string for those songs live for some reason...I'm pretty sure he only uses it for Trust and maybe Almost Honest...and occasionally In My Darkest Hour, I think.
