No tuner? What are you going to use? A pitch pipe? I get tunning by ear, I usually do that to, but only after I've made sure my bottom string is a the note I want it to be. By not using a tuner or at least pitch pipe, your guitars tunning will just continue to get lower and lower, even if its in tune with itself.
My collection:
Mesa (Mark IV long and short head, Mark III red and blue stripe, Dual Rec 2 channel Rev G and Tremoverb)
I literally say the same thing weeks after buying some effects doo dad. Would never ditch tuners personally. I just buy decent processors and never learn them, put them away for a few weeks then sell them.
With that said ... I'm looking at a GSP1101 or an RP1000!
I like a stripped down approach but I will always have a tuner...just not a pedal tuner. I got a Peterson clip on tuner and I aint goin back. No more pulling out a cable and tuner when I change strings. No more affecting the tone of my guitar even though it's supposed to be true bypass. I just clip it on and go.
the little black NS mini is the shit. bass player uses mine, since i have a pitchblack on the board.
sometimes i debate downsizing. but if i did, i would just end up writing songs that use the effects and have to put them back on. already happened a few times. ive got everything tied and snaked, so setup is super easy.

Not using a tuner????? Remind to NEVER go see your band play...
There is nothing that makes me want to leave a place faster than hearing an out-of-tune guitar player that's playing where I'm at. I mean, if an out of tune guitar doesn't grate on you like fingernails on a chalkboard, please just give up the instrument right this second...Drums would be more your calling.
I hope OP is trolling. But yeah, tuning out loud by ear on stage is absolute amateur hour bullshit. Even worse is simply playing out of tune all night and thinking that's ok. Just because you can't hear for shit doesn't mean others can't.
