Game of Thrones

Post by Orbis_Ignis »

Do any of you guys watch Game of Thrones? Is it any good? Is it kind of Lord of the Ringsiss?

I don't have HBO and don't plan on getting it. But this series seems like something I'd like so I was thinking about grabbing the Blu-rays

I like it. Sorta, kinda LOTR'ish. The imp is the best character on the show, but the real reason why I keep up with it, is I wanna see that Joffery kid die a slow horrible painful death.

Tied with Breaking Bad for the best show on TV right now IMO.
The only thing LOTR like about it is the atmosphere and look.

The real point of the show is the character development, politics, sex, and violence.
If you're after epic battles and excess of magic and what not this is the wrong show for you but if the previous things I mentioned sound good then go for it.

I'm looking forward to season 3 since they are introducing some of my favorite characters from the books... that and the shit that's going to go down that's going to make Ned being killed look like a paper cut... Can't wait to see the youtube reaction videos lol
