Seagull Acoustics

Post by stonedtone »

I've had a S6 for years. I think I paid about $350 for it. Solid spruce top, lam cherry back and sides. Great guitar. I recently picked up their 12 string. Real warm and full tones and the electronics are top rate. I paid $625 shipped. One of my best bang for the buck buys

That sounds like an interesting combination of woods... I bet it is beautiful! Do you mind sharing some pictures?

There's a local store that stocks pretty much everything in Godin's line. I gotta say I'm impressed with what they put out with their price point. Not bad at all.

I traded my Godin for my JCM600. I'm thoroughly happy with the trade, but I really want to get another Godin again. :)

I've always wanted a Seagull acoustic too, even back when I first took up guitar.

Eventually I'll have one.

Mine is a cedar top with cherry back and sides. No electronics and I paid $300 new for it.

Does it sound like the Taylor 414RCE (spruce / rosewood) I had? Nope. But it sure as hell does not sound like it is $1700 cheaper either.
