Highly doubt you can find a better new guitar for heavy music than this (assuming six strings are enough of course) at this price.

I've already got my Eclipse and my EC-400 in a similar finish or I'd be on this too.
Guitars:
ESP Eclipse, JR Tele, Gibson LP Tribute, Gibson Government Explorer S I/II, Yamaha FGX830C, Balaguer Goliath, Squire Jazz Bass
Maps:
Egnater Armageddon, 5153 50W Stealth, Quilter, Ashdown RM500
Cabs:
Bogner 4x12, Bogner OS 2x12, Randall MTS 2x12, Eden D410XLT

ECs aren't LPs.

LP look, SG sound, shredder playability.

It still has the look. I'll stick to my Gibson SG standard. I can see why people would want the guitar though.

Um ok.
Though I'm not sure why you're posting that like I said you should switch to one from your SG...

Upper fret access on these are far better compared to a Gibson LP, that's why I like 'em too. Plus, I like to sling my guitars low, even though I've raised it a LITTLE bit because of my shoulders.
