FS: Marshall DSL100h feeler

Post by RyanDistortion »

I think I want something else. This amp did me well but I haven't zeroed in on the tone in my head with it. You all know what it can do. It never left my bedroom so the state of it is excellent. 2nd owner but I don't think the first guy even opened it as it came in the Marshall box

Swapped pre-amp tubes 1,2, and 4 for the tubes shown in picture. Comes with marshall 2 button footswitch (not shown)

For GABbers only, $650 shipped. Paypal only. 50 watt amps considered in trade. No guitars.

Dammit Ryan - you couldn't have waited another couple months? I'd have been all over this one - been saving for a graduation present for *me* :D

I thought I was getting a bigger than normal paycheck on the 15th but it looks like the 30th now. Marked for later.

Maybe your choice of tungsol's is the problem. Those tubes accentuate the fizziness of the DSL's. Try swapping them out and ask Gbilly for some settings as he has one of those newer ones. :rawk:
Marshall amps
Gibson guitars
Dean guitars
Dean Markley strings

Friend of mine has a new band going. He sent me a recording they had done and I asked him what he used on it, because it sounded awesome. Chunky, sizzly and thick in all the right ways. It turned out he was using one of these heads with a Boss HM-2 as a boost. I really need to pick one of these heads up at some point. Good luck with the sale bro!

Noted about the tubes. I also realized that I didn't like my DSL after using my Tele

I plugged my new lp in and it was pretty awesome again. Depending on how hard/easy it is to sell this will dictate if I get rid of it. All my cl offers farted out so I'm not in a rush right now.

No worries - I completely understand, but it sure would be great doing business with you, and looks like a perfect amp for me.
