Picked this thing up years ago thinking I would eventually buy one of the amps that it works in. Never got around to it and at this point I am trying to thin out the herd, not acquire more amps, so I don't see myself putting this to use any time soon. Includes three replacement 6K11 tubes, two GE and one Westinghouse. The tube in the Hotmod currently is labeled Penta.
Looking for $200 shipped for the whole kit, will include the published list of which amps it is know to work with, and a copy of the schematic should you ever need it.
Willing to trade it, so if you have something of comparable value that you aren't using, shoot me a PM. The worst I can do is say "No thank you".

The Jackson JG-2/3 are Laney AOR's with a few mods. I would think they would be compatible too.

This list above is the published list of amps that the Hotmod was known to work with when the Hotmod was originally released. (Thanks Ry Manchu!). I know that there are other amps that it works with, though I don't have a comprehensive list.
If there is an amp that you are curious about it working with, if you can get the schematic you should be able to figure out whether or not the Hotmod will work with it.
A 12AX7 tube is a dual triode, which means there is an A and B side to the tube, each available to be used as a gain stage, reverb driver, effects loop buffer, etc. The way the Hotmod works is that it replaces a 12ax7 that is being used in a "gain stage-cathode follower" arrangement with a "gain stage-gain stage-cathode follower" arrangement, essentially adding a gain stage to the preamp circuit. So, using the Marshall 2203 as an example, the A side of the V2 tube is used as a gain stage, and the B side of the tube is used as a cathode follower to drive the EQ section. When you replace the V2 with the Hotmod, you are essentially replacing the A side of the V2 that is being used as a gain stage with two gain stages, for a total of four gain stages, whereas the stock circuit has three (V1A, V1B, V2A).
So, in theory, any single channel amp that uses the A side of one of the preamp tubes as a gain stage, and the B side of that same tube as a cathode follower, should be a candidate.
Also, any amps that are clones of any of the amps on the published list should be included in the list if they use the same tube layout as the original.
