Bobby was hell of a Texas musician. Most people know him from the Rolling Stones. In fact one of my favorite horn solo's of all time is one of his from Can't You Hear me Knockin':

Wow, not much love up in here for Bobby.
For me, Bobby was the greatest rock n roll sax player ever. Its so sad for us old guys to see our musical heroes starting to rapidly die off. These guys in the 60's and 70's were giants walking the earth... so much that even the sidemen were somewhat famous. And Bobby was one of the best sidemen ever. Straight up motherfucker on his axe. RIP to a truly great one.

Yep. There is a part in Stones in Exile where they are trying to track Ventilator Blues and Charlie Watts can't get the drum part right so Bobby Keys starts clapping it out for him and he says something like, "Here is some boy from Texas showing the drummer from the Rolling Stones where the 2 & 4 is."

That would have been a sight to see. Come on Charlie, here's how we do it down in Texas!
My favorite scene in "Hail Hail Rock and Roll" is when Chuck Berry walks over to Bobby onstage when Bobby is doing a solo and puffs his cheeks out and starts making faces at him, trying to fuck him up. Bobby just kept on blowing.
