Savatage - about half of the Handful of Rain and Edge of Thorns albums, some of it as much for where I was at that point in my life as for the songs, though there's tear-jerky references to losing friends (suicide or otherwise) that always put the ol' lump in the throat.
I don't know if any song continually chokes me up. It has to do more with what's going on with me and how a song hits that time. I think when i choke up from a song it's cause i'm so excited about how amazing it is....
But since you brought up MBD... their song, Until Morale Improves, has had that effect before.

I got one, and I know I've said it before elsewhere, but Highwayman by Lorenna McKennit. I was listening to the college radio station on the way home from a long Saturday at work and that came on and I literally had to pull over and stop to listen to it. Nearing twenty years ago now, but I still remember it just hitting me like a ton of bricks. It still gets me. And yes, it's the poem, but the music fits so well with it, meloncholy and stirring at all the right moments in all the right ways. So much intensity.
Buddy Wakefield is a spoken word artist who does his pieces over music. The story on this one, the emotion and the backing track combined get me in the feels.

It would have to be a song I linked to a saddened time in my life. I don't have any super heart break stories so that eliminates Pearl Jam - Black
But, to be honest, first experience with real inner turmoil was freshman year of college when I knew I was fucking up and just drank to not think about the fact that I KNEW I was blowing an opportunity because I was too immature to be responsible. I listened to Deftones - White Pony a lot that year and every one of those songs transport me to the state I was in and my heart starts to race a bit. Lot of chaos, fear, uncertainty, depression, etc. I've come a long way since and love the music for what it is now, but my hairs still stand on end a bit when I hear passenger or knife party.

I can get with all of that and the reasons behind it and the time frame..... but add in Around the Fur and Adrenaline for me.

First song I ever heard from these guys. Must have been back in 2000, I got the CD used. Was at a great place here in Vegas. Usually I would just put a disc in and hit random tracks. Instant
I dunno, probably not the saddest but Hurt comes to mind. The real version.... not Johnny cashs

Man, there are entire albums I didn't listen to for years because of the emotions tied to them.
And hilariously enough, a few were "emo" but before it went guyliner.
Duane Johnson by The Juliana Theory still gets me right in the feels cause it reminds me and my best friend from growing up and how we just grew apart and it just kinda sucks.

Every song on this album. It's a concept album about a guy named Aaron West whose dad dies and his wife has a miscarriage and eventually leaves him in the span of a year.
