Need Some Information as I am New in Playing Guitar

My teenage cousin is planning to learn guitar, and I am still thinking to buy her a Fretlight guitar (http://tinyurl.com/o5lfhcs) but I've heard that Rocksmith method (http://tinyurl.com/ntbln4b) is better than the former. Has anybody some experiences with any of them?

I have no experience of either, but have a look at this: http://www.justinguitar.com/en/BC-000-B ... Course.php he answers lots of questions newbies might have, and offers free video lessons. If you buy a reasonable quality guitar, you've got the option of getting a decent resale price if she loses interest, especially if you buy used.
