I purposely didn't listen to the album so I could experience it for the first time live.

I was not disappointed. Literally a spectacle the likes of which I will never experience again.

They played an hour of Primus stuff, mostly older songs. Then the Wonka stuff was about an hour, and then they closed with extended versions of Southbound Pachyderm and Here Come the Bastards.

Primus is awesome. Amazing collective musicianship and imo the most modern and innovative psychedelic rock there is. Yeah they got their bluegrassy strange quirky corny jams. But the ones that go deep are seriously deep and TRRRRIPPY.

The song that made me look at them in a whole new light was Eclectic Electric.

I can't find it on YouTube, but that's one of the coolest songs ever.
