Question on "Alt key" in PT11 and Ozone 5

So in Ozone 5 you can Alt-Solo frequencies by hitting alt and clicking on the spectrum, but its not working because even with ozone open and active my alt key effects pro tools itself, not ozone. Does anyone know how to get the Alt and possibly the ctrl keys to effect the ozone plugin when it's open and not pro tools itself?
