There is a new version out too. I wonder what the difference is. I'm thinking about getting a Mustang II if I can sell my vox lil night train. Lugging my Mark IV head to practice , now that I have three different projects going, is getting worrysome.

It's a surprisingly good sounding little amp if you're willing to tweak it via the software a bit. By default some of the amp sims have a shitty pedal boost in front of them that sorta kills the tones. Tweak 'em and you can get decent high gain if you want it. It EXCELS at shimmery cleans though. I mean, seriously, I still think about picking up another just for cleans.

Now see shimmery cleans is something that i dont have in my vast collection of amps. I can knock down mountains with my Red Bear and gig with my XXX but nothing shimmery clean worthy. I though about picking up one of the bigger ones but ill never play live with it and i have tons of cabs so the single 8" speaker isnt really a concern.

Looks like the new Version 2 adds a couple more amps and presets one of which is called Doom Hand(god thats a LOL worthy name) that actually sounds pretty damn good and obviously models an Orange.
