Heard a couple clips. Sounds pretty good.

I freaking love the other Ignite amps plugins. I'll have to give this a shot sometime.

I snagged it late last night, haven't given it a run through yet. I'll report back.

I love Ignite stuff. I use the impulse loader and power amp sim with my AMT pedals all the time.

Looks pretty badass. Sounds really good too from what I can hear on youtube.

Will definitely check this one out.

If I am using sims I usually use the Poulin Solo C head or the Baron K-1000.

I also use the LeCab Impulse loader.

Kind of off topic but do you guys know if there are any better impulse loaders out there and where I can find more badass IR's?

I usually use the Kathleen IR's or whatever they are called.

This is definitely the best amp VST Ignite has done. I have found their others to be kind of weird sounding, but this one is more natural. WOrks great with some of the free Kalthallen impulses (look em up on Google if you don't have them)...but I still hate using amp sims.

I love the way it sounds! It made me wish there was a hardware preamp that you could load VST plugins into that you could run into a power amp... Could you imagine a rack mountable preamp that you could load VSTs into??? It would be awesome!

Thanks for sharing the link, it really sounds bad ass!

There is a floor based one that runs all kinds of VST's apparently. Saw it on TGP. Runs ReValver and a slew if others. I'll see if I can find it.

For shits and giggles I used to fool around with running amp sims like the Lecto and LE456 into the HT-5 I used to have, with sometimes interesting results. The Mackie Onyx board I was using had multiple outputs for different purposes, so I would just run one of the 1/4" outs into the loop of the amp. I think I tried all of the Poulin amps, as well as the TSE stuff. Sometimes they sounded weird and sometimes they sounded really good. I think the HyBrit and LeXTC sounded weird and the Lecto and LeGion (the latter of which I always have found very fake sounding in the box) sounded surprisingly good. Putting them through an actual power stage (even the little 12BH7 powered one on the HT5) and a real guitar cab definitely made things sound more real...because they were. I couldn't record any of it though because I would have needed another computer and audio interface, one to run the amp sims and another to actually record.
