Clapton likes to do that vibrato where only the finger of your left hand touches, when he's doing those show vibratos. Billy G also does that.

Wow this is awesome. I love how raw and unpolished this is.... a far cry from today production standards and honestly it sounds much better.

I spent a little time listening back and forth between this isolated track and the full mix. Interesting that while there's a lot that is buried but it was a revelation to me that even though you can't hear all the parts Clapton really added so much magic to the track.
It would still be a good song just not legendary if you know what I mean.
