NAD - this one is a keeper

Post by sleewell »

ha, did you get the joke?

:thu:

i tried... really hard.

its fishing joke you fucks, get over it.

bogner fish. got it while at work, just went home real quick for lunch. did not have time to play it yet but this weekend looks be real sweet as i have no plans except for band practice on sunday. now i need a boss fs 6 real bad; it sucks that this expensive of a piece of gear does not come with a channel switcher but that is a very minor gripe.

clips coming, some pics for now :arr:

Very cool. You went home just to rack it instead of playing it? You're silly.

thanks guys!!

i def dont plan to bring that all to gigs, will be either the mak4 or fish but its nice that the fish is only 2 spaces and then everything fits in my 6 unit rack. at home though it will be sweet to a/b/y them and compare them and combine different channels.

Hell Yeah!!!

I didn't even think of that.
You can have each preamp running into one side of the Mesa 50:50, and have any combination of channels you want!!

WIN!!!!

I really enjoyed my Fish, by far the best Bogner I have played, along with the Original Triple Giant. The lead tones on that thing coupled with my Kasha JK150 Power amp was brutal. I have owned several of their heads, and never liked any of them other than the first version of the 101. Congrats. How would you compare the Mako to that? I have been very curious about that preamp.

Even better, he should get a Rivera 320. 160 watts of Mako on one side and 160 watts of Bogner on the other side.

Had a chance to play a Fish at a fellow forumite's place awhile back, very much enjoyed it. It was plugged into his 20th Ann xtc's power section lol, it was great though.

I'm interested to hear your opinion on the Fish vs. the Mako. Both are awesome preamps, that's for sure.

there is one for sale here in our GAB classifieds though and i think i saw one recently on TGP.

i love the mak4 to death. really not sure why i bought the fish other than it has been a bucket list amp for me for quite some time and i got a good deal on it. the mak4 is my sound and i love it to death.
