Any Baroness fans?
I've known that they made some cool stuff, but they just never clicked with me until recently. Definitely some great playing and tones.
Looking for recommendations on what albums to get. Thanks.

Re: Any Baroness fans?
I joined the Baroness party late but I'm glad I did.
Green and Yellow are so fucking good.
I recommend those and Red but I'm not versed in them real well, I just know i really dig those records.

Re: Any Baroness fans?
Love Red. Don't like the last two so much.
Re: Any Baroness fans?
Red is also my favorite but I do like Blue and Green/Yellow a bit as well. I almost feel like those two are rough around the edges a little though where Red is a very tight album end to end.

I don't get the beef with Green and Yellow?
Its like pop indie metal or something. Excellent tones, excellent songwriting and melodies, don't know what there is not to like.

Again whats wrong with that?
I listen to all of the genres so why wouldn't I like it tastefully mixed?
Just cuz these dudes got beards they shouldn't be writing catchy melodies?

I fucking love baroness, red is my favorite album. I'm not as keen on yellow/green as their other stuff, but it's still really good

Do I look like some metal head camo shorts wearing tool?

I'm not saying they're bad, but the last two albums just didn't hook me like Red. The song writing became different when their line up changed. As a side note, I also thought the Blue albums production was surprisingly worse than the Red album.

Re: Any Baroness fans?
I always kind of thought of them as a bad version of Mastodon. Green and Yellow is good though I feel like they found their own sound with that one.
Re: Any Baroness fans?
Baroness is great. No one else digging the Blue Record? I like all of them, but Blue was the first one I got into and is definitely my favorite then Red, then Green and Yellow.
