Listening to that first clip right now - got real excited about this guy, as I'd never heard him outside of the Michael Hedges stuff. Those pitch switches he's doing are really cool. Very reminiscent of what Hedges was doing with the transtrem system.

Awesomely cool.

Nice find on the hedges clip, Fretless - never new those pitchy background 'noises' were an ebow on a fretless bass.

I love those Windham Hill Records with those guys . It was a sad day when we lost Michael Hedges . Hey another great bassist and the reason i picked up the fretless bass is Mark Egan , 8 string fretless and whatnot :cool:

Agreed on the loss - what a crazy way he died, but those roads in NoCal are definitely tough. I was fortunate enough to have seen him on the Taproot tour at the Coach House in OC. Fantastic show.

Will have to check out those other bass clips.
