The issue I am having is with R7, I think. I actually put a switch on the front panel for this one as I kept a resistor on one leg so I can either put it in or remove it altogether. Def changes the tone, big time. Now, I wanted to add a tone knob to this thing, right next to the volume and I am positive I have everything wired properly. I get everything wired and the tone knob works, but now my main volume and switch on R7 do nothing. Even removing the tone control I can't get the switch on R7 or the master to work. Now, on R7, one of the soldier pads I mentioned above is gone. So I soldered that lead to R6 because in the schematic it looks like they are connected.

My master volume goes where R5 is and the bottom leg on C5. It worked fine before I added the tone knob. For R7 I just lifted one end (the top)and wired a switch in, plain and simple. That had been working forever as it was one of the first mods I did to this thing. My question is, where does that top leg or R7 go if not on the same trace as the top leg of R6.
I'm pretty sure these are the top legs of R6 and 7.There isn't anything for the lug on the right to solder to - its gone from all the abuse, lol. I merely soldered it to the pad that the top of R6 is soldered to - the one on the left. Safe to connect them? If so, why does it no longer work? Why would the master volume quit working as well? I think that is totally unrelated? It just seems like that whole circuit isn't working for some reason.

Just a bit confused and I am not very good at trouble shooting these things. I'd hate to have to undo everything and start over to see what happens. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
