anyone else listen to Beck??

Post by RaceU4her »

i seriously havent listened to much else for like a year and a half now. the guy is the most diverse musician i think ive ever heard, the way he can take the most random instruments and layer them all into something great is amazing to me.

I used to listen to Sea Change like goddamn crazy back in college. One of the most mellow-without-being-overly-depressing albums i've ever come across.

Came here to say the same thing. When I hear someone say "Beck", I think of Jeff Beck.

This Beck's "Loser" was the song that everyone either loved or totally hated.

+1

"Wired" and "There and Back" both rock!

That album changed the way I view of Beck as being an artist.

I'm really only familiar with a few of his albums, Mellow Gold, Odelay, Sea Change and bits and pieces of a few others. It's been awhile since I listened to any though. I need to rectify that.

I've got a lot of respect for him. He's just got a lot of music to keep up with.

Love Beck. I don't think he's released anything that I haven't enjoyed.

Jeff Beck is a wanker.

Well, technically...........I would consider Jeff Beck's playing to be the epitome of wanking.

He's very talented, but in the realm of guitar playing terms.......wanking is appropriate.

Lots of radio overkill, but "2 turntables & a microphone" still rules. Reminds me of Summer '96. GOOD times
