And I get lik 4 sets from them, for the price of ONE in Norway. If in a pinch, I'll buy from the nearest store that is open

I can't stand Sweetwater. After I bought a Fender Custom Shop Jeff Beck Signature Strat from that place, one of the salesmen picked a fight with me on the GW board. So from that point on, I have never gotten another thing from them nor would I. When the head salesman called me to apologize I was like, "Dude you could offer me a free guitar right now and I would tell you to shove up that other guys ass."

That sucks you had a bad experience with Sweetwater. I hope that your sales engineer wasn't Loop. I don't thikn he'd pick a fight with anyone... unless it's over lasers.

I was always satisfied with Musicians Friend. I can't think of a slight grievance that wasnt resolved effectively. I used to read less than good things about them over HC... Then again, thats HC...

I used to read a lot of less than good things over at HC. GAB is teh place to be!

GC. I go in there, drag in my Les Paul, play through six of their amps and fifteen of their pedals, then placate the salesman by buying a few packs of Ernie Ball 10-52s ("Skinny Top Heavy Bottom").

*lol* - get them all excited about selling a full Marshall stack, then go "nah, just some strings today". There are some tools at my local GC I'd like to try that on.

Although I do like how they have the Guitar Gallery that shows the actual guitar for sale. I wish all the online dealers did that!

Very cool indeed.
The time difference can mean that they ship it the day "after" I ordered it, but still very quick service!
And they usually throw in some picks and stickers. Not too big of a value, but still a nice thing to do.

GC- i can usually get 3 packs for 10 or 12 bucks depending on the sale that day and it gives me a excuse to look at some guitars and amps.

I can always find an excuse to go look at some guitars and amps, so my wife is always trying to find ways to keep me out of GC.

I like Just Strings. Been using them for years now.
