498T and 490R chrome Gibson humbuckers - out of my '01 LP SL
de-soldered from the pots tonight - so they still have ALL of their original lead left - 12" on both.
Great shape - like new - but they are over 10 years old - so some marks on the backs.
I labeled them since they didn't appear to have any markings.

I also have the pots/caps - Gibson logo on them - but I can't tell you much more than that.
Have the caps and ground wire still in place - these are short shaft (3/8") pots

before I did my research yesterday, I would have traded you.
I like the 498T - but don't care at all for the 490R in the neck.

All the info on Gibson's site, and online tells me the 490R is an almost identical twin of the 57 classic - so I no longer am looking for those.

just out of curiosity - is yours a 57 and 57+ set?

daaammmmnnnnn - now you have me thinking - I have been looking for a cream superD for an upcoming Charvel build.
But that would leave my Special without pickups.

I think I will hold out for a sale - really want to load this guitar with BKP's - been thinking either riff raffs or crawlers.
Not going to be able to do that without some cash inflow.

I'm good on speakers right now.
