New to the forum
Just wanted to say hey and give a little background. Been playing several instruments for around 15 years but mostly focus more on guitar. I enjoy all genres of music but more of a modern metal head. Not a huge gear freak just as long as it sounds good and gets the job done for what I need then I'm all about it. I have traveled all over the US with bands such as Drowning Pool, Sevendust, Theory of a Dead Man, Non Point, and several others. Although this is not my typical music I listen to it was a great and humbling experience when I was younger to tour. Now pretty much just record out of my small home studio and enjoy to just be able to do what I love. I'm not a know it all or insanely musically talented knowing all the latest gadgets and what not just a guy looking to share some of my knowledge and listen to others. I see waaay to much hate on forums so hoping this won't be the case. Thanks -John

Re: New to the forum
Hi,
I'm new to the forum. I have been playing guitar for many years and have a few nice ones which I should play more often but I don't seem to make time to do this. I have built a lot of home studio gear based on the work by the great guys at the DIY prodigy forum. I've decided to venture forth and build a Slo 100 clone using the C3 amps PCBs and I must say that Rob at C3 amps has been very helpful indeed.
It's great to see that there is such a healthy DIY community out there.
Cheers
Steve

dude, start your own newbie thread, this intro could end up under the radar, maybe Billy will move it for you. And lots of pics of your gear and builds, projects, we love it all!
