Not sure what the spam from china is about there in the previous post, but…
My next Atlas guitar stand design, folds closed, small footprint, adjustable for a wide range of guitar depths. This one is ambrosia and curly maple. Easily fits in a small backpack or road case.
I REALLY like this one - much more organic and not quite as 'assembled' looking as the others. What is this one going for?
Also - it must really give you satisfaction to take that old wood - plane it shape it cut it and see all the wonderful grain appear - and then when they are stained - WOW!!
Thanks Skylark44, no blue yet, something I'd like to do though with an aniline dye, maybe pop the figure with black first. I did a a curly maple sunburst a year or so ago, it turned out nice.
Great news today! We officially own the utility patent on our amp stand! Took a few years and loads of legal fees, but we got it done! Very happy day here. Thanks to all those who've supported me through the rough times.
This is an Atlas "Mirco" amp stand I made for an Orange amp using some century old repurposed wormy chestnut rafters I found in North Carolina.
I made a matching folding adjustable guitar stand for the owner as well.
Curly Cherry / Curly Maple Low Rider Amp Stand with a slide out Table Top and Mic Mount as well as an adjustable backrest...custom made for an Alessandro speaker cab/head. This was a thrill to build.
BTW we have a few pedal boards on the "in Stock" page that need a home…15% off
