The Thrasher is amazing, seriously one of the best high-gain amps I've heard. When they start reaching stores people are going to lose their shit

That video sounded like shit. That said, I've always liked the Randall lines for metal. Will be looking forward to running this one through the paces myself.

No, they are actual gain controls, just one controls the high end or treble type and the other is the bass side gain, much like a plexi when inputs are jumpered. It gives you a lot of options as far as dialing your tone in.

Imagine the mark series pre-tonestack without the mid knob. That's what I suspect it is. Best for different pickups and strings.

Good for Mike. I wonder if that means he's not doing custom amps anymore.

Its not about the amount of gain, they were talking about the mud that low frequencies can add to the gain itself. Just like the bass knob on the mark series amps.

It's an awesome amp. I was there and it has loads of gain at low levels which is great for bedroom jammin.

I got there before general admission so got to hear it semi cranked before sound police were around and it is the tits!

Is the tone stack before the gain stages like the Mark? I LOVED that feature on the Mark IV because like you said it was great for adjusting for different pickups. I think more amp builders should adopt the idea of passive stack before the preamp and active EQ after the preamp.

It would make the most sense.. I'm fairly certain that is the case.

No clips of the mini Diavlos?

Also wondering how the new Randall branded speakers (50W) that appear in the RG and Diavlo cabs are voiced...

All is good, my friend :) Hope you're excellent as well.
They sound really nice, but I love what I've heard from Mike. I like those kind of tones.
Jason's orange Marshall (Hulk mod) sounded just brutal, and what he did to the Vintage Moderns as well... :D :-bd

Glad to hear that all is well with you and yours! All is well on this end. I've been busy as hell lately but I can't complain!

The Thrasher is based off of Mikes Natas Amp. Well it is the NATAS pretty much and they managed to keep the price point down. I'm really stoked for Mike and the amps sound KILLER. He really did an amazing job with these and I think People are going to be very happy!

Talk soon !!
