Blue Yeti Microphone

Post by Noah »

I picked up a Blue Yeti microphone on a Cyber Monday lightning deal from Amazon. It's a USB based mic with a few capsules in it and four patterns.

I am a noob when it comes to recording but I've got to say that I am impressed with the thing so far. For voices it is amazing. Makes you sound like those NPR dudes.

Here is my guitar into Audacity:

I had to record at low volume because it is late at night, so the pedals sound a little weird but overall I'd say it's been a good deal.

I use one at work. It's a decent mic, for sure. It can definitely get tinny if you're not careful.
I used to play guitar.

What do you do that you need a microphone at work?
