I want to rewire my LP. What's a good source for pots, caps, etc... I will be replacing one of those circuit board type setups

Jonesyblues is good for video wiring instructions as well, I just did a 50's wiring job based on his tutorials.

me too , he also does a killer prewired toggle for cheaps , which can be tricky on a LP .

Honestly, if you're looking for great sounding caps for a Les Paul RS Guitarworks, specifically this one...

http://store.rsguitarworks.net/rs-guita ... oil/dp/161 for the neck tone and this one...

http://store.rsguitarworks.net/rs-guita ... oil/dp/162 for the bridge tone sound great.

Some time ago I bought one of every sort of .022 cap I could find. Had probably 20 different ones. Soldered alligator clips to a pair of wires and had them hanging out of my guitar so I could hot swap caps and the RS ones sounded better than anything else. Not just a little better, but a bunch better. No idea why.
