Best Ozzy Studio LP/CD - Re-Vote (added TUS)

Post by randyrules82 »

Just wanted to know what people think which is the best Ozzy LP/CD. Please state why if you want. I choose Diary of Madman for Randy's awesome guitar playing and the song writing is epic IMO!!! To me none of Ozzy's solo LPs/CD's even come close except for Blizzard of Oz, which is slightly behind Diary!!!!

Bark at the Moon. I know Speak of The Devil is Sabbath covers, but I would have chosen that one if it was an option.

None of it matters because the Tribute Album stands so far above and beyond anything else Ozzy has ever done.

It was, is and always will be Ozzys' high water mark.

I think it's funny that Ozzy pretty much has stricken TUS from his catalog. It's the only one he never remastered or re-released and according to Sony it doesn't even "exist" anymore. Mostly down to his disputes with Phil Soussan over writing credits for that record (go fkn figure). I like it OK though.

NMT is my fave though.

I agree!!!! Maybe I subconsciously forgot The Ultimate Sin for a reason!!!    I just added it for the fans of this LP, but it whiped out the votes so you will have to revote. I did not include any of the live stuff. Just studio releases.

Thanks!!! No offense taken. Everyone has a preference. Love Jake E. Lee, but not a huge fan of the songwriting for either BATM or TUS except for a few songs from each LP.

ok, card turned in, just drop your gear at my house............thanks :thu:

I've seen both live with Ozzy, and Randy's live tone destroyed Jake's.

Rhetorical question is rhetorical. I'm so torn between Blizzard and Diary. I gave the nod to Diary. I think had Randy lived each album would have been better than the last. No votes for Scream?
