Saw them for the first time last night and holy shit it was amazing. I've watched Flight 666 many times so I knew what to expect but in person its so much more epic. I love the theatrics because they're so tongue in cheek. They don't take themselves too seriously and they're just some dudes having a good time while murdering face.
It was also the most positive metal show I've ever been to. I didn't see any drama the entire time. The crowd energy was also some of the best I've ever experienced at a show. People united by Maidens awesomeness. Pretty sweet.
Iron Maiden is jaw-dropping live. To this day. Was it just Megdeth with them? I know a friend of mine in Cali gets to see them as well as Anthrax, Testament and Overkill. Awesome bill to say the least if you are a metalhead. Congrats on an awesome concert experience!

Jaw-dropping is right! Mine was on the floor the entire time! And ya Megadeth was there but I didn't see most of their show. It was at The Circuit of Americas and getting into the actual venue took some time since there were so many people. But man, I could hear Chris Broderick throwing the fuck down!
My friend got us pit tickets a few years ago and I was right in the front on their somewhere back in time tour. I was angry at first for having to pay $80 (he bought tickets without confirming that I could even go), but the show was so amazing that I was glad he did it. Madien puts on the best live show I've ever seen.

I was a complete Megadeth fanboy back in Peace Sells era. Broderick is a beast but I haven't liked anything MD has done since probably The System Has Failed. And that is being generous due to the presence of Chris Poland.

The ironic thing was I saw them with Megadeth on Seventh Son tour back in the day. MD (who I loved) replaced GnR (who I loathed). MD came out strung out still drunk and they were terrible. Maiden, however made me sh*t myself
Saw them in Helsinki in July the last time. Jaw-dropping to the max. Finally got to see some of the Seventh Son era songs live, most importantly the title song itself.
Yeah, saw them last year, same tour I think it was great. I have seen them maybe close to 10 times and it always kills. Saw them first in 82. The Powerslave show in 84-85 is in my top 3 shows I have ever seen. Absolutely epic. Here are my photos from last years show for those of you with Facebook....https://www.facebook.com/mark.detl/medi ... 702&type=3
Saw them on the Powerslave tour when I was in high school. The things I remember most from that show- the hypnotic drone of Flight of Icarus reverberating in my chest (they really dragged out the opening), and Dave playing the Star Spangled Banner with his teeth. It was insanely cool.
Yes IM always put on great shows...one of the best livebands i´ve seen. I almost never listen to them but still have seen them 12 times. And every show i´ve been to has been enjoyable.

Iron Maiden destroys live!!! I have seen them on Number Of The Beast opening for Priest, A Matter Of Life And Death, Ozzfest 2005, and the revisited Maiden In England tour in 2012 and they kicked ass every time!!!
