Hey matt. The extra chip is a JRC4558, I don't think that was stock. The chip in it now is a Texas Instruments something or other, I don't recall the exact number (maybe RC4558P) I tried them borh and liked the T.I. A bit better. It does have a socket though so swapping them out is as easy as unscrewing the bottom.
Would you be interested in trading a H.O.G. for your Pitchfactor? I've got the box, power supply, and expression pedal. Never been gigged but it does have velcro on it.
