Got back a lil while ago from a 'small' show with Little Feat keys master and Wrecking Crew studio legend Bill Payne. Highly recommended - if you dig 'Feat or honly-tonk piano or just want to hear a keys legend up close and personal, he's touring with just a (brilliant) drummer in small venues.
Bill is fan-oriented, has a cool Q&A segment in the show, and is extremely generous about meet & greets. Super cool to chat with a brilliant musician. Most of his material on this segment is unreleased and eye-popping good.
