NGD. Beater, but so far so good.

Post by eyeball987 »

Saw this on FB Marketplace and decided to give another MIM Charvel a shot. Hardtail because F Floyds these days for me. This one has SD Distortion pickups which I am not sure I have ever tried. JB's are my go to pickups and from the research I have done, the Distortion is pretty much the same pickup with a ceramic magnet.

Just changed the strings and checked the set up. Pretty good without having to do anything to it right now. Intonation was spot on and the action was pretty good. Looking forward to plugging it in tonight!

This is a 2023 model. $899 new but only 3 colors I think. Pharaoh Gold, Primer Grey, and Candy Apple Red. This one is pretty much new and the seller threw in a Charvel case for much less than $899.
