Got three used Lovepedal fuzzes: Karl, Super Sic Tone, and Tchula.
So far I'm loving the Super Sic Tone. The attack knob turned all the way up, I'm assuming, starves the transistors, and notes don't sustain and instead sputter and die out, kinda cool.
The Karl, I think, is a Muff-type which is something I am learning is just not my thing. I think my Supro Fuzz is a Muff type too and I don't get along with it either. The only time Muff-types have made any sense to me is when I try to fake Doom Sludge with my '50s style Strat and Blues Jr., haha.

Re: Sober Fuzz Purchases
Yeah I think I'm not into Muff type fuzz either. It's an important sound and definitely a classic but I just don't gel with it.

Re: Sober Fuzz Purchases
I'm curious of Tone Bender types.
Thus far, I like Fuzz Face types mostly because of their clean-up characteristics. But the Super Sic Tone has a pretty aggressive tone when turned up which I'm liking.
The only draw back I'm experiencing with fuzzes is that they don't chug/palm-mute well like distortion pedals do. But I don't often play like that anyway.
