I love everything about my Bad Cat Lynx 2x12 combo...except the weight. I'd love to convert it to a 1x12 combo - the Hot Cat in my profile pic is 40 lbs lighter lol.
Bad Cat used to sell replacement combos, but they don't anymore now that they've switched to their new cosmetics.
Peter Mather was the guy everyone online recommended, but he sadly passed away earlier this year. I reached out to Mojotone already. Anyone else making good quality aftermarket combo cabinets I should look at?

Mojotone, Splawn and try Reverb and post a WTB on TGP. I was going to move my Hot Cat 1x12 to a head shell but I sold the Head shell and kept it in the combo. Good luck.

I've had amps with Mojotone and Sourmash headshells recently. Both were excellent. So that's the 2 companies I'd recommend.
On a completely different angle, I played a cab with a pair of Celestion Neo Creamback speakers this weekend and really liked them. They're very close to the 65w Creambacks, maybe slightly more open sounding, in a good way. And they are super light. I liked them so much I ordered one for my Marshall combo. The Neo V Type is cool too.
So maybe consider getting a pair of them? That would take the weight off.
Them move the stock speakers to a separate 2x12 so you still have to option to use them when you want to.

I’d also recommend Mojotone. Never had one of their combo shells but I love my 4x12.
I think the Neo’s are closer to 75’s. Extended highs, flatter mids. Actually debated putting them in my Mojotone 4x12 just to cut down on the weight.
