Yeah I am sure that is in response to Boss releasing the SDE3000s.
My initial reaction to it:
1- I really like TC's current 2290 algorithm. I have it on my Nova Repeater and on my Flashback Mini delays and it's pretty much my favorite delay tone. So if they are doing a version of that algorithm with more control and features, I am all for it!!
2- I REALLY, REALLY hope they are not making the same mistake BOSS made with the 80s style display. That makes the pedal unnecessarily complicated to use. I can see some of the display being 80s style to look cool, but as far as deep navigation/editing goes, give me a modern interface. There is a limit to retro being cool.
