This new project? Basically, I'm taking songs I've always played my own way, recording them, and pooping 'em out there for people to
to, or make fun of, or whatevs.So, this particular one is one of the first set of riffs I 'learned' (i.e. made up some shit that sounded vaguely like the song) to play on my uncle's old Spectrum 4 Sears-branded guitar (Tiesco produced). Long before I owned my own guitar. Probably '85 or maybe '84. Over the years I heard other bands take stabs at it, then Manson, then I pretended I didn't know the song existed for several years just so nobody thought I was a Manson fan if they heard me playin' it. Guess I got over that. This has been recorded LOUD. I'm sure my neighbors have heard it.

Been hearing this in my head for almost forty years this way. It's awesome to finally start actually hearing most of it.
I'd take tips on the mix, BTW. I'll be playing with it more over the next few weeks, as I work on the vocals. Got some good plans there.
