Thinking about trading my JVM, am I being dumb?

Discussing a possible trade of my JVM210H for a 5150 III 50 watt and matching 2x12 cab. Value wise seems about right, and considering I only paid $1200 for the JVM -and- the 1960 cab and I'd still be keeping the cab would be coming out a bit ahead.



I like the JVM a lot, but I've had 5153 GAS for years and realistically would probably end up using the 5153 more than I do the marshall...





This trade pitch was my idea but I'm feeling torn now

I too support this decision. I want a 5153 bad! Hell I’d take a 5150 II.

My 5153 is out, 6505mh on the way in.

Don't laugh, the mini has a much better clean, footswitchable crunch and the lead channel sounds smoother without any fizz than a regular 5150.

If I get another 5153, it will be a Stealth. I'm sure I will get one next year.

I love the JVM since they came out. They hold their value surprisingly well for not being very highly reviewed. I'll probably just get a DSL 20 though.

I had a JVM410, and I far prefer the 5153 to the JVM. I would do it.

Idk. I like both amps, with a slight edge to the JVM. But if the guy is throwing in the cab, it's a good deal.

I sent him some pics as requested. He had initially said no yesterday then said he was reconsidering pending some pictures so we’ll see what goes down. Whatever happens happens, can’t be considered a loss either imo lol
