Dude I love that guitar; modded the shit out of mine. Did up a custom guard and chucked a BKP Warpig and tuned it down to drop F, thing was a monster and I loved the neck, nice pickup sir. I know you’re going to do it some justice so congrats!

Same here brother, hope that Orange is treating you well. Can’t imagine you sold everything else but can imagine you not playing the rest of your shit, hope everything else is awesome!

As awesome as it can be. The Orange is treating me great. Funnily enough I've been playing it in tandem with my Egnater Seminar Amp (think hot-rodded 800 tones but a little darker on the top end) and they compliment each other nicely. In a room together they sound absolutely massive. Egnater brings the upper mids and cut, the Orange has the mid mids and thump. Absolutely sick.

I was trying out an Orange Super Crush the other day, and it made me think of you, and how I haven't seen you around for awhile.

Yeah man! I have it in A standard and it's absolutely perfect for the project I'm working on with my bud and the scale length feels jjust fine. I wasn't sure about the EMGs at first having been a passives guy pretty much since forever, but they're ideal. We've spoken for nearly 20 years about doing an old man nasty riff band, and now, as 43 looms, is time. We're looking to modernize early 90's metal with a sludgey and occasionally blackened twist to it. The stuff we've started demoing sounds pretty sick so far but needs another refinement pass to really hone the concept. On that front, I've been using stemroller to split out the stems from a bunch of Crowbar, Sepultura and Metallica tracks and then dropping them in Reaper to A standard so I can work it all out and deconstruct the riffs. It's pretty funny loading in Blackened then adding a pitch shifter to knock the guitars down 7 semitones

The latest Helix firmware update really set it head and shoulders above all previous modeling products. Metallica would sound way better live if they started using them but their state of perpetual fail keeps them from reaching that next level.
