god that failed in drop b

Post by NinjaRaf »

Some discussion a couple days ago of my band covering this, so I was just fucking with moving it to drop B today. No bass, so big missing piece in the beginning. Also, haven't played this song in years and moving it to drop B is weird, so there are minor bullshits here and there. Just demoing this out for us to have something to go off of for now, so doesn't really matter. But I think it the guitar tones are fucking sick and wanted to share.

Used my Bauer Strat with Duncan Omega in it. Mesa Mark VII in Mark IV mode, boosted with a Mesa Grid Slammer. I took a look at the settings the dudes in Fit for an Autopsy are using, and sorta tweaked to my own taste from there. Mesa cab with V30/Redbacks in x-pattern. Mics are a Heil PR30 on the top Redback and Lewitt LCT240 (I think this is the model?) on the top V30.

Thanks!

Just fucking around. Something I wish the VII had is the shred feature from the JP. This gets super close to that affect. Not something I want all the time but sometimes.
