So I’ve been gassing over an EVH 5150 III basically since they were first released. Absolutely couldn’t afford it back then though.
Fast forward over a decade and I have the money now, time to buy, right?
NOPE the wife decides to light a fire under my ass to finish my bachelors degree since I was all talk about going back to school. We agreed the amp can be a graduation gift. Well guess what? Not sure which feels better, finally having the amp after all these years or finally finishing school after all these years. Both feel amazing but NAD!!
But I do need a reverb pedal now. Not trying to break the bank or anything. What is everyone using or recommending?

I had to take leave and go home bc in the process of taking my clothes off I apparently didn't unbutton my shirt and instead ripped it off.
congratulations on both! I would say EHX Oceans 11, TC Electronics Hall of Fame (full or smaller one are both good) or if you're looking for a reverb and delay all in one with separate on/off switches , I like the Keeley Caverns
Boss Rv-6, used EQD Dispatch Master if you need both reverb and delay. Afterneath does some awesome stuff too but it’s reverb can be very over the top.

I'd suggest you get a TC Electronic pedal. I've tried some other brands (Boss, MXR etc) and they are fine, but they are not completely transparent. It depends how sensitive you are to slight tonal changes. Some players don't seem to notice or care but I can f hear and especially feel them. With Boss pedals in the 5153 loop, for example, the pick attack gets a little rounder. But with the TC gear there are no issues because input range/impedance is a perfect match to the 5153 loop. Any of them will be fine, Hall of Fame, NOVA, Arena etc..

Congrats on graduating and the amp!!! WOOO HOO!!!!!
The TC Hall of Fame, as suggested above, is an excellent choice and can be purchased used, for under $100 on Reverb. The EHX Holy Grail Nano is another good choice.

Digitech RP360 (or RP360XP if you want an expression pedal)
they have nice Lexicon reverbs ... and if you're putting it in the loop, delays, mod effects, noise gate, etc. just turn off amp and cab modelling and anything else you don't want.
$100-ish used. i bought one just to use as a Whammy pedal
Lots of variables so what are you looking for digital or analog tones? The Catalinbread Cloak is Reverb and Shimmer and really nice.

I always forget about these. They’re a legit solid option and do the whammy thing very well. I still have an old RP2000 that I’ll use the whammy feature on. The effects are nice too.

Man. Takes me back to the first time I saw the RP1 in a MF catalog. Absolutely blew my mind.
