Cool! I like the layout of it, 2 rawk channels, just different. In practical (gig) use I wouldn't likely change channels, but pick one and sit on it.

This has been lurking in the back of the Tone Talk videos for awhile now. Next will be the 50 watt Plexi clone

Wow I wasn't expecting this.
I bet its a great amp. Dave's EL84 power section is really good.

I wish they used a different color scheme though. This looks like a Heinz 57 bottle

I've been checking out some YT clips this morning. It's a great sounding amp. Not really high gain, which is a plus for me.
I don't know 8f I can get past how ugly it is though. It would bother me to no end lol

Yeah on the original 100w version it looked okay ish somehow, but on the 20w, it doesn't look good at all. I think a black panel would've helped if they wanted to keep the red tolex. They did a Ltd Runt for Wildwood a while ago that was red/black and it looked cool.

For the white panel, I think a black or even white tolex would have been better.
But the red/white... man that's tough.

On the other hand the Friedman 20w chassis are the exact same size as the old Marshall 18w heads so it would be easy to replace the headshell. And I'm sure Dave would sell a replacement shell himself.
I'm still tempted to buy it because the tone is right on the money. I wish they made a 50w though. That would be an instant buy for me.
