Sold a PRS Tremonti SE this weekend, and the money didn't even get a chance to burn a hole in my pocket. Saw this Vintage V6M24 at GC that caught my eye for $274 and couldn't pass it up.
All in all not really a guitar I go after considering it has a non locking tremolo, reverse headstock, purple color, and 24 frets. However, it plays pretty damn well. Almost got a Kramer Pacer Classic for $250 but it felt like junk compared to this.
Bridge pickup is pretty hot. 15k Alnico V I think. Nice and chunky.
I also have a Vintage LP/V100 Icon that I've had for maybe 6 or 7 years which is also a damn good guitar for the money.
I was about to pull the trigger on one of those GuitarFetish SBS guitars, but I think overall this one is a better bang for the buck.

This is cool. I like that it came with the Wilkinson tremolo. These trems were all the rage in the 90s, they work really well.
What didn't you like about the Pacer Classic? I had a pair of them a while ago and they were cool guitars. But mine were the earlier version with a mahogany body.

The Wilkinson trem is great! Very smooth and so far no tuning issues - compared to PRS SE trems which I was always fighting to stay in tune on multiple guitars.
It's not that I didn't like the Kramer, it's that the Vintage felt like a better value with a better feeling neck and better sounding pickups. I have two other entry level Kramers and they're great, but my common complaint is the fret ends. 44 mini razor blades on each neck

Man, reverse headstocks look so cool until you need to restring or tune up! I dig the matching headstock, and feel it needs a Lakers sticker somewhere on that body though.

Haha, very true! I had thought about swapping all the hardware to gold though, or at least black. Chrome doesn't quite look right with the purple.
