I just ordered a pair of D8 studio monitors off GC used. I used the D5's for years and loved them. I lusted after the D8s but simply didn't have the money. I hope they live up to like 10 years of hype

The HS8s were fine, but when I moved to the Adams, it was a game changer. I'm sure these will be an improvement based on reviews.

I was looking at those D8s lol... I would love to get a coaxial set of monitors. That said, my Focal monitors sound excellent and I like what I hear with them when doing recordings. Congrats on the good deal!
