So are these actually being made my Schecter or is another manufacturer making them and putting Schecters name on them?

Not sure, but James Brown apparently was part of the design team, and they're supposed to be U.S. made.

I scoffed at this amp too until I realized that I use a 5150 and dislike VanHalen. Granted VanHalen has a little more street cred that Synyster Gates. I'd like to hear it.

It's designed by the same guy who designed the 5150, so you might love it :D
